Accommodation
The comfortable rooms have everything needed, including air-conditioning, wireless internet, fan, a big Swahili bed (either king size, twin or single.) We also can make some rooms to triple and family rooms. The bathrooms are specious with large showers and modern equipment.
Restaurant
Our restaurant has well trained staff who fuse local tastes and cooking styles with a modern european twist. The four chefs use only the finest fresh ingredients with food sourced locally whenever possible, our cuisine has a natural focus on seafood, vegetable and fish dishes.
Bar
The bar is also located close to the beach and the well stocked shelves should satisfy everybodies' wishes. Besides the drinks we put an extra emphasis on good coffee and our staff will be delighted to prepare your favourite. A solid stock of Cuban and Domenican cigars makes the cigar fans glad, and why not taste the Mohito cocktail with it, for the real taste of Cuba..
Pool
Our beachfront is not only the bar and restaurant, but also the beautiful 16 x 8m pool with a deck of lime stone. Imaging yourself stretching out in one of the pool side sun beds, listening to the ocean waves.
Beach
The Matemwe beach starts just 2 meters from your breakfast table and is the longest beach on the island, famed for its great beaches. Beautiful white coral sand invites for walks or bike rides, or just relax in the Swahili beds watching the local fishermen preparing their gear.
Other Facilities
In the reception area there is a small gift shop where you can buy forgotten items like sun lotion or toothbrush, but also there is a display of real local handicrafts made by women from the nearby villages. Furthermore we have a internet corner where you can update yourself on the stock market or check your emails.
